Among the hundreds of lodges that we have visited, our all-time favourite is Savanna Private Game Reserve. It has, arguably, the finest Leopard viewing in the world and is also famous for viewing the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino) as well as a plethora of general wild life. The staff and guides can only be described as superb.
Our knowledge is unrivalled, our service commendable. Access that knowledge to arrange your perfect escape (designed to cost no more than if booked directly yourself). It was quite a shock when we arrived at Savanna after the basic tent we had stayed in. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the luxury. Every little need was catered for. It gave us a totally different perspective of safari camps. We especially loved coming back and spending our relaxation time lying outside and watching the elephants and birds. We loved the bubble bath and the sherries. One cannot fault Savanna at all. The food was excellent. The guide fabulous. The management was superb. The game drives were fantastic. We made lovely friends and enjoyed the camaraderie and teasing. Just loved John and Hilary. They made Savanna special for us.
