Tongabezi
Tongabezi is rated among the top ten honeymoon destinations in the world and when you see the lodge, nestled in a park-like atmosphere of green lawns and indigenous trees, it is easy to see why!
Accommodation at Tongabezi is in uniquely designed chalets situated on the river. Each en suite cottage has one side open to the bush and the river, and a private balcony is the perfect place to relax with sundowners. Old fashioned wind up phones connect guests to reception, and are a novel way to order a gin & tonic at the end of the day! The colours of the rooms are muted earth tones, and bushman paintings on the stone walls create a feeling of time and history. The lodge has a wonderful pool, a lounge scattered with interesting books, and an open fireplace where tales of Africa are told and embellished over pre-dinner drinks.
A stay at Tongabezi includes all drinks (apart from liqueurs and imported alcohol), a visit to the Falls on the Zambian side, trips to Livingstone and canoeing.
