Soweto Tour
Experience the pulse of Soweto, one of Africa’s largest and most famous black townships. You will visit Baragwanath Hospital, the largest hospital in the southern hemisphere; the Walter Sisulu Square of Dedication (formerly known as Freedom Square) in Kliptown; Regina Mundi church; The Hector Pieterson memorial which is named after the thirteen year old school boy who was one of the first to die of a gunshot wound in the 1976 Soweto uprising. You will also have the opportunity to view the former houses of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu which are on Vilakazi Street.
