Madikwe Safari LodgeMadikwe is famed for Operation Phoenix, which was the world’s largest game translocation exercise, successfully introducing more than 8000 animals of twenty eight varying species. Madikwe boast the ‘Super Seven’ including the Big Five (lion, rhino - both black and white-, elephant, buffalo and leopard) with the addition of cheetah and a thriving population of endangered wild dog. Spotted and brown hyena and a rich biodiversity of mammals make for very rewarding game-viewing.
