Irene Country Lodge

Nestling in the historic village of Irene, Irene Country Lodge is centrally situated between Johannesburg and Pretoria and is just twenty minutes from Johannesburg International Airport. It is a haven of peace and tranquillity in the hub of South Africa’s economic heartland offering superior accommodation in forty nine luxury bedrooms, each of which opens onto a patio overlooking the adjoining farm, Irene Lake and the crystal blue swimming pool.

All rooms the rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities, a sitting area and private patio, air conditioning, telephone and television. There are complimentary tea and coffee making facilities in each room as well as hairdryers and room safes. For those guests who need to stay in touch with the business world, there is “Guestlink” in all the rooms, including infra- red internet access, pay movies and international channels.

Each of the three suites has a separate lounge and dining room as well as the features mentioned above.

The Oak Bar is open daily from 10.00 until late and provides a wide selection of alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages. The wine selection is available on display in the bar and also includes the Three Cities wine collection.

The Meadow Green restaurant overlooking the pool and Gazebo area has a sumptuous array of dishes on offer.

The Lakeside Country Kitchen offers traditional afternoon tea with the lodges famous scones and fresh Irene Dairy Farm cream or sundowners around the pool with a variety of light meals on offer.
