RATES INCLUDE:

Rates are person per night and include transfers between Old Mondoro/Chiawa Camp & Jeki/Royal Airstrip, accommodation, meals, beverages, professionally-guided game viewing drives (day and night), bush walks, boat trips, angling, canoe trips, laundry, bar and government taxes. Private Safari rates include private game drives with personal vehicle and guide and are quoted in addition
per day. NB – Walks and canoe trips restricted to 12+ years.

RATES EXCLUDE:

Air / River transfers to/from Lower Zambezi, Park angling permits, lost / broken fishing tackle, park entry fees of US$ 45.00 and conservation levy of US$ 10.00 per person per night, gratuities, visa fees, personal extras, airport departure taxes, hotels and meals in Lusaka, private vehicles or private boats.

ACCOMMODATION:

Chiawa Camp - 9 x Superior Tents take romance and comfort to new levels in Zambia, extra-spacious, a king-sized bed or two x 3/4 beds with pure cotton linens, daybed, Molton Brown bath & shower products, in-door and out-door showers, his & hers wash basins and a roll top “island” bath all overlooking the Zambezi River. The „kids sharing with parents rate‟ is for 3 or 4 beds in a tent i.e. both parents and one or two kids sharing same tent. The children‟s rate of 8-15 years is for one parent and one child in the same tent.

Old Mondoro – 8 x beds in four bush chalets on the banks of the Zambezi deep inside the Park 35 kms downstream from Chiawa Camp. King size bed (or 2 x singles) in each en-suite indoor flush loos, outdoor shower & 24/7 hot water. Outdoor bath come plunge pool. Electric lights/charging 220v in rooms. Walks, drives, boating, canoeing and tiger fishing available. We recommend 2 – 3 nights at Old Mondoro combined with 3 nights at Chiawa for the ultimate Lower Zambezi safari.

ZAMBEZI DREAM HONEYMOON:

Unique and romantic, includes bubbly & roses on arrival, private picnic lunch, private candlelit dinner on pontoon boat moored on the Zambezi, and a private breakfast served whilst drifting down the Zambezi – the ultimate honeymoon surprise. Available at Chiawa camp only at an additional cost of US$ 300.00.
